Cotto-Khan would be much better. Both have their fanbases and don't have anyone to tango with. Khan isn't faded like a Marquez or Rios. That's IF his potential fight with Pacman falls thru.

Cotto's last fight IMO was a 1 round victory against Canelo Alvarez in an ultimately even fight. He's still at the elite level.
I'd prefer to see him in there with Khan than Rios.

2 years layoff at this age couldnt have done him any good, especially if he got out of shape. And tbh he doesnt seem to have the hunger anymore. He still had great legs and good defensive reflexes in his last fight though.

I know Cotto has been calling out Culeno for a rematch...only to be ignored.

But I have to admit this just doesn't look good...!!!

Cotto needs to get with the program. It is 2017, everyone is fighting somebody (well except Pac) and Rios just isn't a credible opponent. Marquez at least has a reputation and I was looking forward to Cotto working him over. Even Khan would be worth seeing KO'd again, that chin would look good on Cottos fist.

Cotto acts the dog to Rios' chew toy for about 9 rounds until BamBam's face literally falls off the bone like Memphis ribs.

Agreed. His reflexes are still there. Not sure about his timing but it looked great against Geale.

The Rios fight is a good HBO fight to guage which direction he should take with the tail end of his career. To see what he has left in the tank.

Man, I'm a long time fan of Miguel Cotto (since Maussa or before) , but he's going to outbox Juan Manuel Marquez? I could see Miguel maybe taking advantage of his size to muscle a decision out of it, but his boxing wizardry is going to "befuddle" El Dinamita? No. That's just silly. Also, Cotto'd have to be careful the way he leaves his chin hanging over that forward foot. He could end up "befuddled" by a Marquez uppercut.
