Looks like the rematch is on!

Where's all the people who said Ward would avoid the Rematch?

 

one of them made a thread about ward pulling out. same old idiots on both sides are going to spew the exact same bs they did last time.

 

Ward will beat him easier this time. I knew the rematch was going to happen, we should know Ward's character by now. People are going to keep underestimating and undervaluing Ward. Even with the clearer victory this time I'm sure there will be a crowd claiming that Kovalev was robbed.

 

I dont think Kovalev can win on Points , so he has to knock Andre Ward out.
If he does not , i think Andre Ward will win this fight.
But maybe i am wrong and he will win on Points .
Hopefully it will be a better fight than the first , may the best man win , i like both fighters.

Ward haters are wrong again!!! This man keeps proving his haters wrong time after time. LOL Ward UD. Kov gets no knock down and gets roughed up on the inside. Ward figured him out on the fly during the fight. He and Hunter have had plenty of time to come up with a plan to stay away from the bombs and work Kov on the inside. Good news for the fans of boxing.

 

It's possible but I'd say it is unlikely. Ward adjusted and Kovalev had nothing. As Ward has mentioned, Kovalev showed his mental weakness following the fight by complaining. A fighter who is intelligent, who has a growth mindset is going to take responsibility for their flaws and come back stronger. We haven't seen any sign of that from Kovalev, I don't think he has that in him. If he surprises me then great, I rated Kovalev highly before the Ward fight and I'd like to put him back up there. From what I see though Ward is just a far more intelligent and adaptable boxer, and the gap is going to widen in the rematch.

In all fairness, it did look for a while like Ward did not want the rematch.

I like how some people are like Kusher is coming for blood blah blah blah. Why didn't he have that mentality in the first fight it was undoubtedly his biggest fight of his career. /shrug After Ward wins again no excuses. All these people saying Ward is boring turn around and swear HBO judges gave him the fight. Logically why give a boring fighter the win?! Kov greatest weapon is his power. Andre has already tasted it, so it no longer has the element of the surprise. Again let me say I didn't feel Ward did enough to warrant winning the 1st, but I'm not the judges from the first fight. The deck is stacked in Wards favor for the rematch. The referee needs to stop Ward from trying that MMA **** in there. Will they?! That remains to be seen
