I think Frans Botha could probably be talked into a fight still. You just know Antonio Tarver would be up for it.

Povetkin is frozen out at the moment so it has to be someone with little prospect of getting an alphabet title shot. Plus it's his first fight of his ban. I would believe as he gets close to his return date someone with name value would step in hoping to springboard off his name if they win into a mega match with Wlad or Joshua.
Almost impossible to tell who his opponent would be at this point.

Povetkin has the best resume In the division to anyone not named Wladimir Klitschko. Plus he is an exciting fighter. I hope it's a solid match.

 

None of the Title holders will give him the shot without VADA or at least some form of serious testing. No point of risking your life for money.

I know boxing is risky but even they know fighting someone you know will be juiced up is not a great idea for your career or health.

 

Why doesnt Deonkey fight the Povetkin, or is he scared?
