There is always a risk of heads clashing in fights. Happens all the time. Its as common as somebody getting knocked out. Wlad was victim of many an accidental headbutt as well of being the thrower of intentional ones.

Ward is in there looking to get off punches. The difference is night and day to anybody who knows the sport.
Wlad style is the antithesis to boxing.
