Theres only one fight i believe kovalev hasnt knocked down his opponent, thats boone 1.

So i expect ward to be dropped again atleast once.

 

Dude, you're acting as if Ward actually won the first fight. He didn't, he lost but was gifted one of the worst decisions on paper in recent big fight history. Ward didn't even win the boxing match FFS, which he should have dominated essentially.

We just spoke in the lounge Kov was mostly limited to a jab following round 2 and he ended up getting outlanded in jabs. I saw no significant body punches or hooks landed by Kov. His right hand and jabs were his significant punches. There was no outboxing at all. Just a guy who failed to close the show.

 

Wards arsenal had more variety ^

 

and ward was outboxing who? landing sparingly a left hook and body punches. wards head was still continously getting outjabbed right until the final bell? how did kovalev outland ward then in the punch statitics?

 

He only did by 10 punches and had to throw over 100 more to do that. That's not economically great at all.

I think that Kovalev exposed himself. He showed that he is not the finisher that a lot of people built him up to be. He also showed that under extreme pressure his ability to adjust is limited. He needs to understand that it's not his mouth that will win the fight but his skills, stop whining about the past and be ready to win in the future. Ward will be ready and ready to win.
