Who was more complete in your opinion? Who else in the last 30 - 40 years was as compete and well rounded as these two? Maybe Holyfield at cruiserweight? Alexis Arguello? Tommy Hearns?
Even guys like Larry Holmes, SRL, RJJ, JCC, SSM had big weaknesses or were uncomfortable doing certain things in the ring. Oscar and Cotto could do everything well but werent on duran or lopez's level. FMJ was a little too defensive, not a really big puncher and not comfortable enough attacking to fit the criteria although he was very very good. Pacquiao has shown improved boxing skills in recent times but not like ricardo lopez.
I think Lomachenko and crawford are both very capable in both offense and defense, both decent hitters and good boxers but i dont think they have the offensive arsenal of duran.

This isn't close, at all, it's Duran by a mile. He was one of the greatst infighters in history. Lopez didn't demonstrate top-drawer infighting at all. Not at all. Bit shaky inside, in fact.

I wouldn't say Lopez was particularly complete, at all...more very very good at what he did.

What would you say SRL's "big" weaknesses were? He's easily one of the most rounded fighters we've seen.

"Or were uncomfortable doing certain things in the ring" I don't think SRL was very comfortable pressuring an oponnent nor was he as good in the pocket as duran. But he was a great and very well rounded fighter no doubt. But not a jack of all trades IMHO

Via that standard no fighter in history would be jack of all trades (or even close) i think Contro.

Duran is one of the very greatest of all time in the pocket and SRL wasn't completely swamped in there. Leonard would fare better on the inside vs Duran than Duran does at a distance vs Leonard.

Leonard showed against Hearns he could amp up the pressure when it mattered. He beat Benitez when forced to lead a lot. His blend of speed and power made him quite a versatile fighter and a genuine boxer/puncher.

Leonard is a lot more rounded than those you bracketed him with as well as more so than Hearns and Arguello. He and Hagler were the most complete fighters of their era for mine. I rate Leonard above as he adapted and strategized noticably better than Hagler. Peak Gomez was also very well rounded.

126 lbs Marquez was more complete than Lopez.

At least, he proved it against a higher quality of opposition.

It's Duran, and it isn't close.

He outboxed one the great boxers and defensive fighters in history in or near prime. He out punched one of the biggest punchers in boxing history, in or near prime. He showed against one of the great pressure fighters, and a vastly underrated boxer,he could fight on the inside with him. And went up in weight, and defeated and ATG middleweight, slightly beyond his prime, but was an active fighter, while he was coming off one of many (too many) layoff 's . Don't know what some would consider a "complete" fighter, but he damn sure defeated a handful of ATG's and a lot of very goods.
