Well we have yet to see Loma against a natural counter-puncher. Forcing him to come forward constantly might take him out of his element. As of now, not unlike Pacquiao, Loma just ruins conventional fighters with angles and totally controls the ring. All that flash becomes much harder when a fighter is constantly maintaining distance and threatens you every time you come close. Mikey Garcia might have a shot.
Maidana would be destroyed, maidana was b- at best and that was before broner he was shot against broner believe it or not
You probably won't beat him but no one is unbeatable. How good someone looks depends on their competition. Lomachenko is one of my favorite boxers but he still has a ways to go imo. A fighter like Saddler would take him in my opinion. Also a prime Camacho, someone who is as quick or quicker than him. Mikey Garcia and Crawford will probably take him if he moves up. And your facts are just your opinions. Nothing wrong with having opinions, we all do but there is a difference between an opinion and a fact.
I dont think an super offensive fighter is gonna beat Loma or knockout him out. I think the best shot would be a slick defender with effective counter punching who would win on points.
You don't. Lol! You wait 10 years and HOPE he ages. For now you just accept the generous cash the sport gives you and take your execution and try to stay upright as long as you can for the fans.
The greatest boxer/punchers always struggle with great pressure fighters. Clash of styles. No different here.
I agree, but a true puncher like Foreman or Pacquiao (lower weights especially) thrive off being pressured. But yea, a pure boxer like Loma doesn't have the power to get a pressure fighter to get off of him or drop him for the KO.
I don't believe Loma's shown enough evidence he can handle the type of guys I mentioned, yet. I still expect Salido to give him a gruelling fight in the rematch - Salido doesn't get enough credit for defending well to the body. From what I remembered from the amateurs, Lomachenko always seemed to perform well against counter punchers. I've seen that the more space you give Lomachenko, the better he performs. I'd pick Loma by KO against Mikey - which sounds pretty damn outlandish (although I wouldn't be surprised if Mikey knocked Loma down once or twice, and Loma's effectiveness at 135 will drop the way Roman Gonzalez's had at 115 - 138lber vs 150+ pound guys on fight night with big frames) - I used to think Mikey would give Loma such a tough fight.
