Duran was past his prime at 154 when he lost to Benitez. I'm not saying Leonard is the stylistic equivalent to Floyd, but Leonard's IQ and physical attributes are on par with Floyd's or better.

Past his prime, this match-up is prime for prime. Duran didn't lose to any slicksters welterweight and below. The Leonard rematch is all you really have and Floyd doesn't even move like that.

Okay, I see where this is going. You think because of a one-sided performance against a smaller counter-puncher that Floyd has otherworldly athleticism that can't be overcome. Let me correct you. I've studied Floyd's whole career and while he is great, he is far from unbeatable. Losing rounds against pressure fighters far lesser than Duran indicates Duran would close the distance on Floyd and make it his fight.

If you've never seen anything like Mayweather then you need to watch more boxing.

Your basing this on what? Benitez was easily as skilled. Dude beat a divisional ATG at 140 in Cervantes when he was freaking 17. His defense was good enough to go 15 against Hearns and not get stopped. He's considered the unofficial 5th member of the fab 4. I don't think you know who Benitez really is.

He beats Floyd for the other reasons I stated.

U clearly didn't witness Mayweather as Pretty Boy Floyd. The offensive minded fighter with a 90% KO rating. His KO % didn't drop until he became the more cautious fighter, Money Mayweather. Mayweather was his best at 130 and 135. Duran would not walk thru him. This fight is 50/50.

I think that version of Floyd has even less of a chance against Duran.

That's a complete flasehood. After his last fight at light weight Mayweather had a 68% KO rating. He was a better puncher at 130-135 but he was far from a power puncher.

I outlined them in depth a few pages back. But the main thing:

The fight will inevitably end up inside in a majority of rounds where Duran is better. Floyd has a better chance in a rematch.

Its obvious Most Floyd fans haven't even watched Duran fight other than a few highlight clips. They just repeat the same opinion and nothing will change their hive like mind. They even think Floyd does things in the ring that he's never done in a fight ever lol. I think Gannicus makes these Floyd threads to get a laugh with all the crap they come out with.

You don't need to respond to every point i have said.

I'm sick of your pathetic logic , it doesn't make sense , your f*cking excuses, i can't read that anymore.

Benitez was more skilled than Mayweather , if you really believe that, i'm sorry for your mental health.

Roberto Duran was out of his prime in nearly every fight he had , in your opinion.
It is nothing more than pathetic excuses.

Go watch the duran vs benitez fight. duran eats a steady diet of right hands all night. floyd has one of the best pull counter right hands ever in boxing. this is a style mismatch with duran being truely outclassed with movement and speed , his kryptonite.

Why are you posting Mayweather video's in here like it's educational ? We've all seen his career and know how good he is. He's our era so no one you aimed those video's at in this thread needs to learn anything about him. Duran is different because he's from a past era and it's obvious lots of general forum posters haven't watched his fights and don't understand or know his style even though they say different. There's Lots of ***** liars on here that repeat the same garbage about Duran and pretend they know ****. You're one of them.

I gave Roberto Duran respect , i said he was great, something you guys would never do to Mayweather , because of your inferiority complexes.

We all know that you guys underrate him in that matchup , because you are jealous , that is the only reason.

There are a lot of objective knowledgeable people in this thread and they have all Mayweather winning, these
guys must be the people who are comfortable with themselves.

You guys can laugh as much as you want , but i know you don't do it, because you are very sad people.

No fighter was good enough to beat Mayweather in the last 20 years from 130 to 154 pounds , and don't come
up with that Castillo bull**** , i know you gonna bring that sh*t because you are very predictable.
He still won that fight , it was close.

I play the psychologist every day for you , if you need that Clowns.

I can post whatever i want , some of you dont seem to have seen his career , if you really believe that
Benitez had more skills or Duran would school him.
I have seen entire fights from Duran and he was great , but not good enough to beat Mayweather.

Benitez did have more skills than Floyd in certain areas and vise versa. Boxing isn't as black and white as what you think it is. Benitez could arguably beat Floyd. None of you Floyd fanboys know how Floyd would do against another great defensive wizard because he never fought one. He never fought anyone even close to Benitez in style. I think Benitez would beat Floyd tbh.
