Selby next for Carl? By a process of elimination it's looking that way. All the other al hay on lads are tied up...
Bad move for Carl in my opinion.

We are still no closer to Carls next opponent. I honestly feel Carl is not a featherweight and if at all possible he needs to return to 122. Anyone else feel the same?

Nope. He was absolutely drained at the weight at 122. Featherweight is perfect for him. I don't think losing to somebody of the class of LSC would have me questioning his ability at the weight. First fight was the performance of Carl's career.

Moving up to 130, which has been mentioned, is another story and something I wouldn't be rushing into if I was Carl.

I think Carl didnt really outgrow 122 - he ate and weightlifted his way out of it, partly as a tactic to gain a size and power advantage over superbantams. It is entirely possible that with a different diet and training regime a man his size could make 122 again.

For example Macklin called himself a 'big middleweight' for years and swore he could not make 154 - yet at the end he returned to 154!
It's amazing what can be achieved with modern weight management, training, diet and discipline....

Very curious that they're still in talks after the WBA order and the fact his dad categorically said no.

    Something's up alright

Maybe Leo finally grew a pair and has decided to take control at last. About time.
Not a good move for Carl though.

What's the point? Can anyone realistically see Leo losing to Carl again? Basically he now has the blueprint. Carl has no answer to him when he boxes and uses his physical advantages. Lsc selby and most feartheraeights are simply too big for Carl. It ain't rocket science, folks....
