I hope his work doesn't go unnoticed. He deserves a lot of respect and I'll be rooting for him to succeed in the sport. First off, Salut, Jason Sosa for accepting the Dare To Be Great Challenge! He actually willingly accepted the fight with Lomachenko when everyone at 126 and 130 have been shamelessly ducking him. Whilst Lomachenko was born with boxing gloves in his hands and was raised by his genius father, Jason Sosa had a tougher, more Rocky-like story. Tough neighbourhoods but he persevered and decided to pick up boxing at the age of 19! Jason Sosa has had JUST 3 AMATEUR FIGHTS and became a WBA champ, compared to Lomachenko's 400 fights. Sosa was KNOCKED OUT in his 5th pro fight by some cab driver). Look at the strength of character it shows to not be defined by your losses, and to continue pushing forward to chase your potential. If the world hands you a loss, see it as a lesson, an opportunity. Such a philosophy has been no truer in the case of Jason Sosa. He lost to The Matrix, the upgraded Enigma that even Alan Turing wouldn't be able to solve. No harm losing to a legendary fighter. He just didn't stop throwing. Yes much respect, he'l come again, no shame in losing to a great like Loma. At least he has cajones to fight him..
Loads of courage, toughness and determination. He would've literally fought until he would've needed to be taken out on a stretcher. And, he's certainly not without some skills either.
You're simply projecting. You couldn't imagine yourself digging deep and standing up to Lomo's relentless assault. It seems superhuman to you. Guy must be on peds. Don't project. You're a keyboard warrior. Sosa is a warrior in the ring. Totally different types of people. Waaaaaay different. However, you'd destroy Sosa on message board posting...
If you actually think that you haven't been paying attention. Just to get Walters in the ring he had to chase him to a different division, Rigo wouldn't come anywhere near 126 when Loma was there. All the other belt holders at 126 and 130 decided they didn't want to fight him. Salido is doing everything in his power not to face the rematch. All these guys talk about is not getting paid enough. I think you meant to say "No one has been ducked like Lomachenko".
Walters moved up cos he failed to make 126 against Marriga. He fought Loma at 130 so wheres the duck? Rigo has been calling for a catchweight fight for the last few years. He said 130 was too high just like Loma said 140 was to high for him to face Pacman. What other guys rejected offers to fight him?
The only reason fighters like Salido or Corrales aren't fighting Lomachenko is because Lomachenko's team keep low balling them and other fighters
Look into the history of the Walters fight, Walters refused numerous times and he even refused the fight at 130 over money, he ended up taking the fight a year later when he had no better options. Loma said he'd fight Rigo at 126 and agreed to the catchweight and all of Rigo's demands. Then Rigo said he wanted more money and that he's too small for 126. Months later when Loma had moved up Rigo called out everyone at 126. Those two guys undoubtedly ducked Lomachenko, look into the history there. Salido has obviously ducked the rematch but I can't blame him for that, he lucked out the first time and wants to cash in.
