I'm sure it's just to develop a villan profile to market the rematch. They can't all be that thick The rematch if it happens and some needle develops will be a large affair. Great for both parties Williams has done good out of this loss.

"All class acts" only 1 class act & that was Liam Williams, difference between smith & Williams attitude ringside after fight shown who is a class act and who isn't, the smiths escpecially paul & Callum were a disgrace, after not making Weight to winning the way he did leaves a bitter taste, Williams should not have a loss on his record.
Williams should have a loss on his record because he had to be pulled out the fight. The was plenty of heads and shoulders going in from Williams in the fight. It was ironic that that was what finished him. Siblings just sticking up for each other, I don't have an issue with it.
He lost due to a clearly deliberate head but, as for siblings looking out for each other, no need for Paul Smith to get in the ring and act the way he did at the end of the fight, they show no respect to other fighters and all of them think they are so much better than what they are.
The stick Liam Smith is getting.. laughable! It's a 12 round fight. Yes he got his head boxed off early doors, I had him losing the first 5 rounds, but it's a 12 ROUND FIGHT! He was coming on strong prior to the stoppage and Williams was gassing... which he openly admitted in the interview afterwards. If you believe that headbutt was deliberate and with intent to "cheat" in order to halt the fight, then you may as well log off here and go lick some windows. There were heads, elbows, forearms etc going in all night between the pair of them. It's boxing, it happens. It was a good fight, the ending was shite... get the rematch on and let's see a conclusive finish, simple.
