Last I checked, Duran wans't either above 135 yet he never forced any catchweights or even complained about not having one!

Same with Roy and Nard, Floyd etc

Cotto. He has had loads of catchweights. Pac, Kirkland, Sergio, Geale, Canelo all spring to mind. There may well be more.

Actually missed Margarito 2. Add that to Cotto's weight game list.

    it must be Canelo though...

7 of his last 8 fights (including the upcoming one) and quite a few in his earlier career. No way Pac comes close to that number

    Pac's catchweights = Insignificant.
Margs and Cotto enjoyed massive weight advantages in weight classes Manny should never have dreamt of going near to. They both said they felt good at the weight for the fight.

    Canelo takes the lead.

    Pacquiao has:

    Cotto
    Margarito
    JMM (3)
    Algieri

    Cotto has:

    Martinez
    Geale
    Canelo
    Pacquiao
    Margarito (2)

    Canelo has:

    Lara
    Kirkland
    Cotto
    Khan
    Chavez Jr.
    Mayweather
    Jose Miguel Cotto

And I suspect possibly several more fights at 150 earlier in his career. Boxrec shows both Alvarez and his opponent weighing in between 149 and 150 pounds several times. Odd for a 154 limit. I guess Canelo is really the catch-weight king.

I'm sure Monte Attell had that many they eventually took his championship off him.

Hmmmmm i think history will remember Pacquiao as a welterweight fighter tbh. Same as Floyd.

Absolutely no doubt its PEDMAN, it isnt even a contest

For world title fights, almost all of his fights were plagues with catch weight controversies

Pac being a miracle welterweight fighter.
That's not their best weight, though. It isn't compltely fair to make SRL vs Pac/Floyd welterweight matchups IMO.

How many catch weight fights did Pac actually have? 145 for Cotto? 151 for Margo? Isn't that it? Did he have one with JMM?

All pac-marquez fights could be considered fair fights even with the catch weight. pac just fought unnaturally at the higher weight classes earlier with bigger opposition.
