I disagree with that sentiment, i think its a commonly paraded statement that these two are natural lightweights or whatever but history shows their best performances and achievements came at welter.

Floyd has a catch weight with a bigger canelo, I gave him a pass. The same with pac who is always the smaller guy in all the catch weight fights he was in.
Floyd had a catch weight with a clearly small guy and less skilled Marquez and DIDN'T even honour it!!!!

I couldn't disagree more. Pac and Mayweather were at their best at 130 and for Pac even lower. Especially past prime, they ceased to be the fighter they once were.
History shows a successful weight rise like Pacquiao's is virtually unprecedented.

Canelo also fought Josesito Lopez and Matthew Hatton at catchweights, if I recall correctly.

Possibly Hatton but I couldn't confirm. I think Lopez was dragged all the way up to 154, which I wasn't a fan of.

Pac was a once in a generation fighter. He fought in many fights he had absolutely no right to be involved in let alone win. I thought when he fought DLH it was an absolute joke, he proved me wrong. I thought when he fought Hatton it was an absolute joke and he proved me wrong. I thought when he fought Cotto it was an an absolute joke and he proved me wrong.

Pac should have never been anywhere near 147 but did it because thats where the fights were. He will go down as one of the GOAT because of his achievements, he achieved BY FAR more than any modern fighter.

When you ask who the greatest of the previous era is you have to say PBF on h2h and being undefeated but you also have to say Pac on achievements for winning fights he had absolutely no right to.

Before that it was Roy Jones, currently we have Lomachenko.

Not for Pac. He beat Cotto and Bradley at WW. Beyond that, it's Clottey and Vargas. And Brandon Rios. And then literally that's it. Oh, Algieri too.

The Josesito fight was at the full 154.

The Matthew Hatton fight slowly went from 147 to 150 to 152, so yes, that one counts.

Angulo, Lara, and Kirkland were all non-title fights.

    I'm sure it will.

Look, people have lost interest in your stuff. You need something new to troll. Look at El Chicano. Right now he's trolling Brits and GGG fans with two Billy Joe Saunders threads at once! You're still griping about PAC-Cotto....

Oh, I could really care less about your opinion. Just saying. Not sure why you think you'll get anywhere by going down this path LOL.

I only speak the truth, and nothing but the truth. I will continue to speak the truth! People need to hear it.

Why I think I'll get anywhere? You've got me all wrong. I'm not trying to stop you from continuing to troll a little-visited boxing message board for 10 years. I'm just telling you that your material is so old nobody cares about you anymore. You need to step up your game. You're in a rut and you're completely irrelevant.

Someone like you, you mean. But remember, when you take my advice and find some new trolling material, remember who to give some credit to.
