That was actually a great fight. If Jacobs can maintain that level he will mow down the rest of 160. Well, assuming he can keep making the class.

the judges collectively got the right result (UD) but individually their scores are off, in my view.

For instance, two of three judges gave the 12th round to Jacobs.

blows me away. Jacobs was content to hold every chance he had and just wanted to hear the final bell ring.

what's more, GGG outlanded him in that round 2:1 in total punches landed, and nearly 2:1 in power punches landed; GGG was also more efficient, again, nearly by a factor of two (GGG: 46.3%, DJ: 24.2%). So a round in which GGG was more active and more efficient, and in which Jacobs was holding, 2 of 3 judges still gave Jacobs that round.
