Based on styles and the skillsets of both fighters, this would be a 50/50 fight. I don't see too many clear advantages for either fighter to be honest.
Clearly feel Calzaghe wins Speed - Calzaghe Combinations - Calzaghe Footwork - Calzaghe Boxing ability - Calzaghe Stamina - Calzaghe Punch power - Calzaghe I really dont think it would be overly competitive unless Calzaghe wanted it to be and fought Wards fight and even then I see Calzaghe as a clear winner
Absolutely. Calzaghe was way faster, smarter and in his prime, I'd wager he hit harder than Ward too.
I highly disagree. Most of these advantages you list for Calzaghe are pretty close to even. The only thing I'd give to Calzaghe would be the combinations. Everything else is pretty much even.
You claimed by Calzaghe's performance in the Hopkins fight it proves he doesn't beat Ward.... Hopkins is a spoiler and negative.....Ward fights nothing like this.
calzaghe once beat an overrated, one dimensional, american fighter who was at best C level.....i like joe and think he was really good....but theres a reason he fought roy and bernard when he did....his resume is overall not that good.......to think he has many advantages over ward is crazy......
