    i enjoy actual fights. not blowhards running their mouths. anyone who wants less fights, but gets off on discussing out of the ring bs befuddles me. i'd rather have seen him fight saunders too, but i won;t give it a minutes thought outside of when i am here.

    I've never believed any of those claims, except the third (to some degree); GBP has some influence but I do believe a major factor in this decision is that Jacobs gave GGG a much harder fight that he expected as explained by a few posters earlier in this thread. If GGG had KO'ed Jacobs early I'm guessing he would plow ahead with the BJS fight.

    Pretty naïve comment to make for any fan of a fighter. I would assume money is the driving force for any fighter, legacy a close second for some.


    I agree with greenhornet's sentiments. It would be nice for GGG to stay sharp and fight BJS in June but if he feels he'd rather take a break and wait for the Canelo fight in Sept/Oct, so be it.
    We have plenty of great fights coming up and if you are a real fight fan, you'd be excited for those and not mentally masterb@ting over GGG's next move and the drama with GBP.

    Just my two cents.

    And correct me if I'm wrong, but weren't you going on about Canelo fight being GGG's best chance for a legacy? So you should be praising him for choosing legacy fight over unification, unless you're a GOON who talks out of his ass.
