    Hand speed is great but remember timing negates speed, so Oscar Valdez and Mikey Garcia are the two best with that around those weight classes.

    Lol!! I wasn't trying to be confrontational in the post before that one! SMH Just stating my point. There HAS been Loma hate on here in the past couple of years. But hey... that's going to happen with any top fighter. But I threw in the "Don't hate just appreciate" with the slim chance somebody who hacks on Loma MIGHT give that some thought. Lol

    I just think in the two years or so, since I've hung out on ESB I've not come across another boxer who the vast majority give a thumbs up to. You can list the rest: Floyd, GG, Ward, Pac etc etc and they all have their detractors, and a lot of them. But Loma seems to have bucked that trend. Yeah there's a few who wanna pick holes in anyone, but with Loma that tends to be primarily about Salido, and even then it's all pretty half-hearted. There's enough boxers who have checked-in to Hate Hotel but Loma transcends all that. I don't see the haters you do.

    PS: His hands are fast but not the fastest...

    Gary Russell and Gamboa are both visibly faster than Loma,
    (the Loma/Russell fight should be evidence of that), Loma
    beat GR on timing and pure skillset, not speed. (Timing>Speed)
