    AJ wins
The difference in power is minute, the difference in speed has an AJ win all over this. Plus AJ isn't afraid to get tagged to land some killer combos, Wlad gets KTFO with combos so unless AJ makes a rookie mistake and leaves himself wide open for the left-hook I can see him slowly wearing down Wlad to around rd 6-7 when Wlad's body gasses out and AJ pounces on him to land the killer blows.

I think Joshua, i think when they trade jabs Joshua will have the quicker hands and will beat Wlad to the punch and that one fact will dictate anything and everything that happens in that fight. Wlad will soon realise he will be the one that has to find a way around a fast, strong, accurate and dominating jab plus what follows it up to be able to do any damage himself, something his own opposition has had to compete with for years.

He wont shy away, he did that in the Fury fight and in his own eyes that was an embarrasing performance that has haunted him since and more than anything that performance is what he wants to avenge. So he will go on the attack and will take some big shot and be ended. A while ago i said within the 1st 4 rounds. I stretch that to 6 or 7 now as Joshua will be very cautious until it is clear he has confirmed he has taken control of the fight with his jab and i think the 1st 3 rounds we will see very little action as they work each other out and see whats what.

But i wouldnt put any money on this. points i cant ignore are that ive only seen AJ hit once and he had a wobble and while he has looked fantastic in his fights he really has had it all his own way against Boxers only half as good as Wlad. He seems very upright and his head is definatly worryingly static. Against a young or prime Wlad Joshua would have to show he has more to his game than what he has had to show to date. And this old and past it Wlad isnt yet shot, hes got rounds in him where he can still be somewhere close to his former self, just not alot of rounds. But he has slowed down.

Very much looking forward to this one. People claiming there are still plenty of questions to be asked of Joshua and i totally agree and until he is running on empty or knocked out Wladimir could be asking all these questions for us.

As soon as Wlad feels the power he will go into a shell and it will be a matter of time.

I did think that when the fight was 1st announced, but after seeing all the positive thinking slogans and listening to many Wlad interviews you can tell how angry he was with the fact he went into the shell against Fury. I think if he lose this he retires and if he went out like that, again, it would haunt him the rest of his life and he knows it. He will go out fighting.

Superb post. That was worth my time.

I agree with you that if AJ takes away Wlad's jab then Klitschko is gonna have to pull out a Lennox Lewis / Vitali performance to win. I have the impression that Wlad may be a tad faster than AJ. If I'm wrong and AJ is on point, it's not going to be pretty ...

My gut feeling says Wlad is too old and can't take AJ's youth and power. UD for AJ, maybe he knocks down Wlad once or twice. If Wlad wins it would be a major win for him, fantastic comeback after the weird loss vs. Fury.

Fury was just such a goddamn awkward customer that Wlad was totally bemused. I seriously underrated Fury going into that one. If that fat f*ck could get his rear in gear, he could potentially rule HW. But I'm getting the feeling he was a one hit wonder.

Prime Wlad would win easy...but at 41 and his inactivity I would go for Joshua...

Thank you, and if im wrong about the hand speed and taking control of the jab battle then i am wrong about everything and i begin to worry for AJ. He will have to show alot more to his game than what he has shown us so far to get the win.

Joshua looks superior in pretty much every department, Wlad gets laid out in 3/4 rounds, or DQ'd for holding.

Wlad cheated disgracefully against Pulev and Pedvetkin, and tried to pull **** with the canvas with Fury. He also looked garbage against Jennings.

He won't get away with his ridiculous fouling in the UK.

    AJ 6-9 stoppage.

I'm just not convinced a 41 year old Wlad who's been out the ring for 18 months has anything left.

You cant beat Father Time and I expect a Wlad who cant pull the trigger.
