Honestly, Wilder is an idjit. He beats a walking pinata and tries to promote himself with incredulous statements that not even boxing fans with Down Syndrome could swallow.

 

He probably does have better power than Tyson. It does not mean that Wilder is necessarily a world class fighter though. There have been many massive punchers who were nothing special [Vladimir Virchis springs to mind as an example!]

Wilder has a more extensive amateur career, and if he had gone Tyson's route, he'd have been world champion in 2010.
