It is, but I had him losing against Kovalev. You don't get temporarily knocked unconscious, rolling around on the ground, on his knees, and then get up and not really do **** and win the fight.

yes i think the most u can say for kovalev ward was it was a desperately hard fought draw. But the case for that is fair.

However at least the guy is rematching, so the issue should be resolved either way. Isee Kovaclev as champ still anyway.

    He's on his way

Surprised he's not more well respected in America. He's a rag to riches kinda story and now an excellent fighter with impeccable character

Maybe the Floyd get rich crap is more appealing to the American dream. Even if you are of suspect character

why when all I wrote was that ward is building a case for HoF. How is he not?

explain why u extrapolated me being racist from writing thar ward is building a case for HoF as he clearly doing.

You'd have a better case arguing Loudon is a kebab ie none.

I agree - Froch was grossly overrated & Groves exposed him!

He was damned lucky Calzaghe didn't come back....granite chin & huge haymakers yes but a good boxer ...NO

If ward had been "Made" to fight within the M of Queensbury rules he would have lost or been disqualified !

this seems to be the cornerstone of your argument in Calzaghe v ward
fighters are resilient by nature, and apart from prince naseem, I can't think of too many fighters who didn't look for redemption in onw form or another.
assuming that Kessler was a lesser fighter after fighting Calzaghe is just something that is a means to an end for you - nobody can gauge that accurately - especially since Kessler's best win (froch) came after the calzaghe fight

unless you're Kessler or his optometrist, your "vision problems" comment holds no water, especially considering Kessler's run in the super six. i'm not doubting he had them, that is well documented. but you're fitting the timeline to suit your agenda

    Calzaghe did not duck froch
froch wasn't a player on the world scene until he beat jermain taylor, which was his ticket into the super six

It's not ATG status, it's HOF status. He would need to unify and clean out 175 for him to be an ATG IMO.

No it isnt. You are avoiding the rest of my post and trying to go to any area where you think you may have an angle rather than address the whole post.
You have made a point of not addressing certain points raised, which shows that you are posting on an emotional level
Kessler had eye problems as well as various other injuries. Believe it was his back also.
You are trying to use a win as an arguement rather than how Kessler was looking and performing and how it was noted that he wasnt avoiding shots as well, moving as well and that his timing was noted to not be as good. Pointing at a win is like saying G Foreman was prime because he beat Moorer or Mosely because he beat Margarito etc. I could many examples like that
You make this comment and then say you dont doubt.
I agree my comment holds no water which is why it is not my comment, but others. See below.
Look at the fact Kessler after scoring what you feel is his best win how he dropped out of the S6 with eye problems and how they were noted.
