Your post isn't worth debating, it's completely moronic. Leave the thread before you embarrass yourself any further.
If another boxer was making those accusations at them everyone would classify it as "trash talk" yet when Ward alludes Kovalev is a drunkard it's somehow not trash talk, as if he was talking facts.
First of all, trash talking has been going on in the sport of boxing ever since it's inception. Secondly, Ward said nothing about Kovalev being a drunk. He said that Kovalev doesn't take care of himself in between fights. If you want to take that as Ward calling Kovalev a drunk so be it, but the words alcohol and drunk never came out of Wards mouth in the interview I saw. Hunter...Yes, he straight up said Kovalev drank vodka.
Where did I ever dispute this? I answered to people who tried to convince me Ward isn't talking trash. Ward then alluded to what Hunter said, basically confirming that this is his view too ("Kovalev has some bad habits outside the ring"). Ward has been extremely disrespectful while Kovalev gave him nothing but respect. Ward initiated this. Kovalev is a real gentleman and a model professional who would never even dream about disrespecting his opponents unless they provoke him with something.
Let's just hope Ward hasn't got under Kovalev's skin like he has yours, otherwise the mind games have been wrapped up early. But worry not, I suspect Krusher is bright enough not to walk headlong into them...
I don't care about Ward. He is nothing to me. In fact I appreciate his skills, I copied some of the things he does and used them when I box.
Your hatred of ward is funny as hell! I feel in this interview, that Ward answered the questions honestly and without malice. Only at the 5:50 mark of the interview did Ward speak about Kovalev having bad habits outside the ring. Honest question and I would like an honest answer from you. Why do you not criticize Kovalev for saying he's going to end Ward's career? Why do you make stupid comments that Kovalev is going to kill Ward? You are the same guy the criticized me for making a terrible comment about 3G. I'm seeing a trend here! Kovalev can trash talk, Ward can't or you will get angry. You can make statements about fighters getting hurt but I can't because you will get angry! LOL, You truly are one of the biggest hypocrites on this site.
Good case study for anyone who steps inside the ring. Maybe you should study his approach to the mental side of the game too? Having said that, you already do... kinda.
As far as the interview goes, Ward was not disrespectful at all. I feel you guys just hate Ward and whatever he does or says you will just attack him and put a negative spin on whatever the man does. Personally I think it's funny that Ward is pissing you guys off with the so-called disrespect he is showing Kovalev. One thing Ward isn't going to do is kiss you or Kovalev's a$$. Besides, talk is cheap! If Kovalev is half the fighter you guys claim he is, he'll whoop up on Ward real good! But I doubt it. Ward is all up in Kov's head already and there is still several months to go before they enter the ring. Kov is going to be a mental mess come June 17. Ward 2-0, Kovalev 0-2.
There is trash talk and there then is this. There are just certain lines you just do not cross It's not the first time Ward's camp has come out with this kind of garbage. Prior to the first fight, Hunter was was saying how Russian fighters are more or less the same and they all will inevitably quit when the going gets tough. Now we have this vodka comment which we know what he was implying. Yet you think that is all fine and dandy to issue forth these kind of prejudiced comments. Just imagine if Team Kovalev began making comments about Ward liking chicken and watermelon, without a doubt kovalev would get blasted and rightfully so. Yet Ward gets a free ride, '''he's just responding to questions'' ''it's just trash talk'' ''they all do it'' ''it doesn't mean anything''
Ward was extremely disrespectful in that interview. Kovalev already beat Ward once. Ward is the one who is rattled and has to resort to racist trash talk together with his team while Kovalev is just having fun and being himself. Ward is constantly whining in the media about Kovalev.
There is good reason why Kovalev feels the need to want to end Ward's career. He has had his belt stolen from him, been disrespected by Ward and his people who went back on their word and restructured the contract so that Ward gets the lion share of the purse. Then he has to listen to Ward act like he won the fight and tell the world that he might retire, potentially leaving Kovalev in limbo. Anyone with any sense of humanity can feel this man's frustration. And the difference is you wanted to see GGG paralysed so he couldn't pick up his children. All this, not because GGG did anything wrong, but simply because you wanted to spite his fans I don't want to see Ward get seriously hurt, I've just highlighted the fact that he has put himself in a position where he has pushed and pushed on kovalev's buttons so much, that there is now a real possibility of him being taken out for good.
