A bit of subtle racism. Have never pulled out of a fight without a legitimate reason despite people pulling the rug on them at the last minute several times including high yield fights against David Haye that cost them hundreds of thousands. One rule for everybody else, another for Fury and his camp.

How the **** do you get racism for that? The fury camp since the Wlad fight have been nothing short of a disgrace.

Perhaps you can explain where this racism you are pointing the finger at occurs in the comment :

"If it involves the Fury family then you're right to have concerns. They're hardly known for their honesty and reliability".

I bet you can't point out any racism there. Because there is none :ohno

So you are blaming Fury for having mental health problems? Everyone in boxing, including Klitscho knew the rematch would not happen. Convenient how he now has a Wembley megafight worth 10's of millions.

'But a source associated with the Fury camp confirmed all avenues were being explored to avoid coming to Auckland for the May 6 showdown'...

A source? Who then? No attributed or unattributed quotes either. Total length of article; three paragraphs, including the 'hilarious' traveler joke at the end = high BS quotient...

*EDIT: Just seen the article continues after the photo but even so, that's just copy and paste background filler. I also note, no journalist has put his name to this 'exclusive', it merely states 'staff' which is what media outlets do when they lack confidence in the detail.

On slow news days the media often resort to just creating news.

When you "can't divulge your sources" it makes it really easy to just make stuff up.

Go on cry racism, see if I care. It's a tactic used by the Furys to avoid criticism. I don't use hate words to describe Travellers but they think throwing words like gorga around are totally fine. The level of hypocrisy in their claims of discrimination is insane.

Now - I never said they weren't hard done by Haye's injuries. I don't think Haye lied about it though that doesn't make them any less out of pocket so I can see why they were really annoyed about that. That's totally fair enough.

They did however pull out on Ustinov when Tyson saw him and didn't fancy the job on short notice, they did massively **** Wlad around with the rematch when they couldn't sell the right amount of tickets/get Tyson to actually bother to train/show up to pressers/stop taking recreational drugs/clear his name of the PED charges levelled at him by UKAD.

The last one is still particularly murky with no satisfactory response ever issued. The fact is whenever a situation has presented themselves the Furys have nearly always tried to lie their way out of it. That's not an opinion - it's there in black and white for all to see. Thus thinking them to be untrustworthy in their dealings is totally logical but go on cry racism because it's easier than facing up to the Furys being by and large full of ****.

I suspect you won't get an answer to that question because the statement didn't contain even the slightest hint of racism.

You know the old saying, when all else fails play the race card, and he did.

He was under no obligation to take the Ustinov fight, Chisora pulled out on him. Not to mention his Uncle was seriously ill. It was the right thing to do at the time and I don't think anyone would argue he comfortably beats Ustinov on his day.

Gorga is not used as slur, it actually means gentleman and refers to anyone not of Gypsy blood.

You said 'if it involves the Fury family'. That suggests the whole family even those not involved with boxing.

It seems an easy game to attack the Fury's for being dishonest but everyone else can do as they please without criticism or fear of reprisal from the BBBoC. To me that's discrimination. It may not be intentional, but the undercurrents are there and the stereotypes and pre conceptions are obvious in Fury related threads.

The term Gorga is often used in a derogatory way and you know it. The etymology of it is irrelevant at this point much in the same way the 'chav' is - nobody thinks of a baby when calling someone a chav.

The points you make about Ustinov would be a lot more valid had he just said fine the fights off when Chisora pulled out, showing up to a weigh in then giving an interview where you look nervous before pulling out looks terrible.

The 'Fury family' refers to John, Peter, Hughie and Tyson in this instance as we're talking boxing. If I were talking about the Smiths on here I'd think it would be equally obvious that I was referring to the boxing brothers rather than their grandmother or cousins that nobody knows of. You're trying to deflect from their recent untrustworthy statements like they never happened. It's very obvious you have an agenda here.

I'd also say that Tyson and co have had some sickening comments made to him online and that's bang out of order. It doesn't however give the Furys carte blanche to carry on how they have of late. They've lied a lot and been caught out on it. Pointing that out isn't racist.

If you think calling out liars as liars is racist then you need help pal. Being travellers doesn't exempt them from criticism no matter how much you'd like it to.

Having to call off the Wlad rematch due to Tyson not training. Peter was claiming all was good knowing full well that the fight was increasingly unlikely to happen. We had to listen to crap about broken down cars and the like when it was obvious Tyson was looking for a way out of the fight. That was an outright lie. He also refused to acknowledge poor ticket sales for the rematch as a factor when it clearly was.

John Fury is full of crap. Just look at anyone of his interviews and you'll be able to find lots of inconsistencies in his claims.

They've also gone out of their way to obscure what's going on with the UKAD investigation with Tyson and Hughie making lots of wishy washy statements whilst hiding behind some kind of injunction - it's the only reason anyone can present as to how that investigation including the hearing which has now passed was never disclosed or reported on.

You can add all the comeback claims in too, they keep seeing Tyson is doing this or that and then we see him heavier than ever a few days later. They've become a joke and it's all their own doing.
