Only someone who doesn't know boxing would say something so stupid.

Anyway, Mikey would take two Loma punches to get off his one, rather easily. And, that's how you beat Loma. That and jabbing n cutting off the ring. Mikey prolly has the best jab in boxing rn and is top 5 in cutting off the ring.

If you say so friend. It's a very fanboy esque statement, because as my previous post showed, there is no basis in logic to Loma KOing Mikey. But it's all good, if they fight, I see Mikey KOing Loma.

What people are not factoring in is that Mikey is a cerebral fighter and the mindset that he brings to the table is far different than that of what Loma is used to seeing. He is gonna hurt Loma to the body and set up his head shots. Loma does do as good with his back against the ropes and he has one escape route and that's to his right. He will escape and come right back. Mikey is gonna read all of that and force Loma to think outside the box which may or may not be his undoing. One thing for sure, Mikey has the power to knock him out.

Then you would know that Loma makes one very critical flaw that will play directly into Mikey's hands, and probably lead to him being KOd. Of course if you'd been watching Boxing for 50 years you'd know exactly what I'm talking about, and he hasn't changed it since the Salido fight. Has been doing it a tremendous amount recently.

Here is someone who knows boxing. Loma can only exit to the right, and when he does so HE DROPS HIS HANDS!!!!! When he does all that fancy in the pocket shifting and upper body movement, he's a sitting duck for a sharp jab or left hook. Mikey has the best LH in the game, and is a top 3 counter puncher so.

I cannot even imagine how much better Loma will be by the time they actually fight. Nitpicking tendencies and micromanaging what Loma does in fights he is dominating has no bearing on how he will approach Garcia.

Some gents got their feelings all wound up in a fighter that don't even know they exist. Get a grip. We talking boxing and calling it like we see. I know I am.

What you haven't seen in 50 years is a fighter who can adapt and do absolutely everything in the ring. What you perceive as a flaw is there for a reason you obviously don't understand. I can show you 20 amateur fights of his against different styles where I guarantee he doesn't make that 'mistake'.

Lomachenko is the same fighter he was as an amateur in terms of skills and talent. The only difference now is his ability to pace and win rounds in the way pro judges like. 2009 was peak Loma IMO.

You hit the nail on the head. People say that he has gotten better, no, but he has gotten comfortable. The bad thing is that he has gotten comfortable fighting in a level below his.

Mikey will quit. He's in the sport for a payday. When the going will get tough for him vs Lomo, he will mentally and physically quit.

I think we all agree that Mikey has real power,in his last fight you could hear how hard he was punching and just about every shot hurt his opponent,so then re him n Lomo you'd have to think that for Lomo to win he would have be as elusive as ever and just negate Garcias power,if anyone can then Lomo can do this,it's not exactly a puncher v boxer though as Mikey boxes anyway but skills wise Lomo is ahead on that score, how he works his opponent out and gets better in the second half is amazing to watch

I have to say I do fear for Lomas durability. I've seen his whole body shake from punches that he's blocked.

I think Garcia could surprise KO him.

i think they are pretty close, skill wise, but mikey has the frame to move up successfully, and i dont believe loma can be the same at a higher weight against bigger guys... a lot of what works for him now, will not work against guys the caliber of a garcia or crawford, etc...
i have to go with garcia and his edge in power and strength. he will be absorbing a smaller mans punches while returning much harder shots to a more fragile frame.
