As I suspected, you played the race card - without the slightest hint of justification - because you couldn't otherwise offer an argument.

Which issue do you feel he attracts unwarranted crticism on? His drug use? His public breakdown due to mental issues certainly not helped with drug usage? His unresolved controversies with regulatory bodies? His pathetic public comments? His fathers drug trafficking conviction?

He was a HW champ, no one can take that from him, but Tyson is not a champ I will recall with joy for the above reasons. His father is a convicted drug trafficker which IMO is anathema to pro boxing.

 

If Fury doesnt get back in the ring soon they are going to be an endangered species.

 

I don't blame the Fury team for their reluctance this time. No one will get a fair shake vs Parker in NZ.

 

I am getting pretty bored of these sad sacks who go on about people not getting a fair shake against Parker in NZ.

None of the refs in the top fights are NZer, and Parker has not lost a fight yet - the only way you could call any of them a robbery is if you are trying to find ways he lost, though the Ruiz fight was a very very close call.

 

The pain truly lies with those that cant get over the Ruiz loss. As Parker fans, we will never feel what that traumas like. Guys like ellerbee, they are obviously truly suffering, while Im that we won.

 

Agreed. They wont be NZ judges or ref unless i am wrong but even if they are NZ is not exactly a hotbed of boxing corruption.

 

I'm a Brit, and I can honestly say Parker has not legitimately lost a fight yet. If Hughie's team are worried that they won't get a fair shake in NZ then it's a pretty baseless complaint, especially considering the number of iffy goings on that have happened in the British ring.

You are a prime example of what I am talking about. Your post is so factually wrong it's embarrassing and you talk consistently about issues that have nothing to do with Boxing. I was specifically referring to incidents where the Fury's have been dishonest, as you all seem to label him. You all bang on about his drug use, what about Oscar and Ricky Hatton (just two of many examples), these guys are celebrated like heroes. It's a classic one rule for one guy and another for Fury. What about the comments Tony Bellew has said about homosexuals? Where was the governing body then?

FYI John Fury may have been in serious trouble with the law, but he is not a convicted drug trafficker, so get your facts straight before spouting rubbish on a public forum.

 

I'm more pumped for this fight than Wlad v Joshua!
