The heavyweight division has been as interesting as it has been in a really long time lately

I didn't realise you had set conditions in order to respond.
Seemed like you asked for concrete reasons and I gave them - and they have everything to do with the boxer. You didn't ask about Hatton, Bellew or Oscar else I would have responded. John Fury hasn't been convicted - I stand corrected it's his uncle, I don't claim to be Inspector Closeau when it comes to local the Fury's comings and goings.

Yeah, it's the uncle -- the trainer -- who is the convicted drug trafficker, right? All the father did was maim someone over a longstanding grudge over a beer or something. Please fill in the correct details if I'm only in the ballpark.

Have you seen anything that suggests he will other than that beat up of an article that doesn't contain a single quote from anybody?

Is it just me, but if I was Fury I would be doing anything in my power to make this fight happen.
Seriously. Who has Hughie fought? The fact he gets a shot at the belt Parker holds means the idea of him pulling out shouldn't even be in the equation...

Sadly, I think you're right. I see Fury having issues just a week or two from fight night. Hopefully i'm wrong, but I have that feeling.

    Was?

    Has it disappeared?

Did it contain any quotes? Or was it just a beat up?

Thats two different sources and both of them have credible history. This is so annoying if true from Fury in that he chooses now to sulk about the venue when he said before that he was happy to fight in NZ.

The two sources so far amount to:

"a source associated with the Fury camp confirmed....."

    and

"Fury and his management are said to want......"

Not even a name. Let alone a quote.

I wouldn't get too excited just yet.

This thing just ramped up a notch. There are rumored to be mutterings now:

"There are mutterings that Hughie Fury and his team would like to move his title bout with Joseph Parker to the United Kingdom, even though it is less than a month before the fight is scheduled to take place".
