Honestly: Why did Fury never get the respect and credit for beating Klitschko?

He did right after the win but it quickly turned and then well you know how he's been since then

i already think next to nothing of him. his ring resume is garbage. he has shown no honor or courage in his career. he got struck by lightning. since then he ducked his rematch twice. has whined and cried. he is a filthy pos.

I think he got plenty of credit. It's just that he kind of ruined the momentum he had afterward by canceling two fights and not really giving a ****.

Seems Fury landed 86 of 371 thrown for a 23%, Klitschko threw 231 and landed 52 for a 23 % connect rate. In the Haye/Klit fight David threw 290 and landed 72 for a 25% rate compared to Wlad's 134 out of 509 with a 26% connect rate. Still dismal for fury and not enough to take the championship. Much less justify singing a silly song in the ring. so....Fat boy Fury landed 14 more punches (than Haye) and that is something to to use the word stupid about? Go look in the mirror dumbass dinovelvet.

I came in here to say he got MASS respect, and to be fair it feels like most of the UK boxing public nuthug Fury so overall I'm not sure where this is coming from. He did a very good job, Klitschko did a subpar *FOR KLITSCHKO* job and it ended up being a pretty one sided fight.

I think on the back on one fight you can't treat someone like an ATG, and his conduct outside the ring is hard to warm to - however he DID crack the division wide open, and if he makes a come back with earnest then he'll be a serious threat to anyone.

Worst title winning fight ever, at least in HW history for sure.

Tested positive for steroids earlier in the year.

Admitted to faking injury, never training, then testing positive for two separate rematch dates with Wlad.
