It looks like Lipinets is going to enforce his IBF mandatory on Indongo, and they are not willing to take any step aside money either. So it looks like either take the fight and risk getting beat, because Lipinets is a damn beast, or vacate and go for the more lucrative fight which would be to unify with Crawford. That said, I imagine it might be a difficult process to get and Undisputed champion at 140 since the belts might get split up again.

Weak divisions, his last two. He faced, perhaps only an exception or two, as good of a run of opponents as he was remotely realistically ever going to.

 

He's really in a difficult position. Similar to Roy Jones, especially at 168 after he beat Toney. 140's one of the worst divisions in boxing, and lightweight was bad when he was there (Garcia and Linares weren't there yet). He's beating the best available in style, can't knock him. No point moving up to 147 if it's not for a big fight. When the big fight's there whether Pac, Thurman, Spence or whoever Terence will go for it, and shouldn't need a tune-up.

 

Crawford should move up and take on Garcia, with the winner fighting Pac. Meanwhile the winner of Spence vs Brook fights Keith Thurman. The winner of Crawford/Garcia/Pac fights the winner of Spence/Brook/Thurman in a big showdown.
