Anyone else share the opinion that John Ryder is going to beat Rocky Fielding pretty convincingly? Ryder is a skilled operator, and I don't feel that's a good styles match for Fielding. Also, I believe I scored Fielding's fight against Rebrasse against him, on top of him almost being knocked out by said light hitting fighter.

I'm so tempted by Ryder. The way he handled BJS speaks volumes about his quality. But other losses hint to him being past his best now and Fielding is still a golden child of British boxing.
Past his best? He's nearly the exact same age as Fielding, who's career has become stagnant. Ryder has very good momentum going into this fight, especially considering everyone scored the Arnfield fight for him and Arnfield is a 6'2 fighter as negative as any I've ever seen. Against Etches he more or less dissected the other guy in a class performance, and I don't see a massive difference in quality between fighters like Etches and Fielding. Both British level guys, both deemed "big punchers" by the UK standard and both being outclassed whenever they've stepped up. I feel Fielding is very soft chinned, and limited in skills. He tries to box, but he's just not fluid or good enough to effectively do it I suppose. Too upright. He gets hit a lot. Ryder can really box. Very smart in the ring. He's lost fights but he's never been blown out in a single round or nearly knocked out by a light puncher. Blackwell took a lot of damage from Ryder being overwhelming him for a standing TKO that was a bit premature.
