About to rewatch the 1st fight Klitchko had with Peter. Kind of made me think. Many were saying that Klitchko was just a dead man walking into the ring...that "dead man" kept walking and walking through his opponents aftet. How does that version of Sam Peter measure up to Anthony? Will we see a replay of Klitchko vs Peter 1? Aside from the debatable question of just how far over the hill Klitchko is. How do these two guys match up?

Joshua is better than Peter who was limited as hell. Peter might have a better chin than Joshua but that's it.

That's what I was thinking. But let's not forget Peter was considered the mini Tyson or some b.s. like that, up until he fought Klitchko. Will AJ just be labeled a glass use if Klitchko beats him? I'm not implying Klitchko will win. Just a hypothetical for a discussion

Peter has a better chin and hits a little harder than Joshua.

I think so too, but it is too early to say for certain I suppose. It is possible that Wlad beats Joshua and then Joshua crumbles, in which case he's be seen as a bit of a fraud and definitely below Peter.

Exactly. He appears to have more potential than Peter did, but if it's all downhill after the Wlad fight, he still might not have as good a career. Peter had a really underestimated resume. He beat more top hw's than Haye, that's for sure, even though you wouldn't think it because Haye has a much more dedicated fanbase.

Peter had a rock chin for years, could take a huge punch and not blink, he was also a huge puncher. The Klitschko fight took a lot out of Peter, both fights, and then don't forget Vitali's destruction of Peter after a 4 year layoff...........Peter would be pure hell for Joshua............we do not know much about Joshua's stamina or chin, Whyte staggered Joshua, hurt him, and he can't punch at all, so that makes the Klitschko fight very interesting............

Completely different fighters, Joshua is obviously a far better boxer with his height, reach etc. Peter was just a good chin and huge power, he had very little technique.

In terms of resume, Peter obviously has better wins, with a fat roided Toney and Maskaev all being better than anyone Joshua has fought so far.

But Joshua has greater potential, he has better fundamentals, greater size, comparable power.
