    Should have been 1-1 against Tunney (damn you long count and Dave Barry)...!!! Would have loved to see Dempsey vs Langford or Kid Norfolk...!!! Dempsey is easily one the most ruthless, vicious boxers in the history of the sweet science...!!! And the fact that he lived with Charlie Chaplin is pretty bad-ass too...!!!

    I'm confused by your comment, do you not want people to contribute anything to your thread? I post primarily on the General forum and occasionally on the classic forum. I stand by my point that he was a diva once he became the champion, in fact he was probably the first version of FLoyd Mayweather Jr- basically around the time he became "Money." He was part of the first million dollar gate and he went from a guy who literally fought anyone and up to 15 times annually to a guy who fought around once a year, if that.

    This was during a time when guys would normally fight 10+ times annually, so for a lineal champion to only fight once a year was very strange for the time. Still a great fighter, no doubt.
