    For me, two of the best examples are Crawford vs Gamboa and Bowe vs Holyfield.

    Elaborate if you will. Especially since Canelo doesn't have a natural style that size plays a big factor.

    I'm not sure size played a significant factor in the FMJ vs JMM fight.

    He looked a lot bigger and stronger than Cotto and Khan to me. Maybe not Khan but I think Cotto could have taken Alvarez if they were the same size. Size plays a huge role with the ability to take a punch and power. I think Cotto was actually the better boxer in that fight.

    Basically every fight of Pacquiao's career from 2009 onwards except for the Marquez fights.

    He did look bigger than Cotto, but he wasn't really imposing his size on Cotto. He was counter punching and setting up traps.

    As far as ability to take a punch, that is somewhat true, but Cotto is used too punching fighters with great chins, and fighters who are bigger than him. In fact both Martinez and Daniel Geale were significantly bigger than Cotto, and Geale is definitely bigger than Canelo, yet Cotto had zero issues KTFO Geale.

    Someone who uses size to their advantage are fighters like Chavez jr., even Miguel Cotto pre-154.

    Alvarez is a superior boxer to Geale and Martinez was lame when he fought Cotto. If Alvarez was the same size as Cotto, I think Cotto would have won but that's just my opinion.

    I can respect that opinion, but I do not agree with it.

    While Cotto is a more textbook, and flashier than Canelo, Canelo is a more intelligent, more durable, and better chinned fighter.
