Lol! This is hilarious. Wladimir hits harder than Wilder! Especially prime Wlad!

Wilder connects more often behind the ear with his swinging rights.

Joshua's got more pure force behind his punches.

    245>225

Its not Only about force. Its about the target.

Interesting….but I remain unconvinced for now. It would explain however, why a guy with perceived poor technique (DW) is knocking guys stiff, while a bigger guy with better technique (AJ) isn't.

Yeah he calls Peter the hardest puncher but Sosa is the one that hurt him the most.

I don't think It's really about protection, some people just have flab around the belly area. I remember George Foreman saying "when you see a fighter out of shape, work to his body". But hardly any HWs bother to build a six pack, guys like Joshua and Haye are just too concerned with thier look than other fighters.

Andy Ruiz Jr(who might even be able to make LHW if he was ripped lol), Christian Hammer, Dillian Whyte, Dominic Breazeale, Jarrell Miller and even Tony Bellew are also ranked in the top10 at HW. Some of them by TNRB, some of them by the Ring, some by ESPN. It's beyond ridicuolus to say the least to suggest any top10 HW today would put Marciano and Joe Louis to sleep.

@theanatolian - I thought when I didn't get a reply it was because the question was so stupid you weren't going to even address it, so thanks for the reply. Still, it would take a mean shot to make it through the blubber on Tyson Fury right now.

Any heavyweight in history who is viewed as a big puncher hits just as hard as Shavers, Foreman, etc. Sure some guys hit a bit harder than others or have a memorable power but pretty much every hard hitting heavyweight in history hits as hard as each other. You all are over-exaggerating a puncher vs a non puncher. Everybody hits hard. Whether it's Paulie Malignaggi or Anthony Joshua, you're going to feel it.

I don't dislike Wilder actually, you can critize his technique and his choice of opponents. But he can definitely crack.

When Wlad really digs in with his shots... he has more impact than ANYTHING in Deontey's arsenal.

Yep this, when the best guy on ones resume is Stiverne who incedently took his power all claims to being the biggest puncher in history are off,by the way I still think any boxer worth his salt would not get hit by those telegraphed windmills.
