In the 12 rounds he was as lost in the 12th as the 1st. I don't think he can. He can't do multi punch combos which is what's needed to beat Leo.a marauding body punching one man gang type approach is what's needed and that jest ain't Carl....hope I'm wrong....
Bernard Dunne looks set to be unveiled as the new High Performance Director of the Irish Athletic Boxing Association (IABA) with the decision to be rubberstamped later this month. It is understood that Dunne, a former WBA Super Bantamweight champion, has beaten ex-Irish rugby coach Eddie O'Sullivan to the punch and will be offered the post, vacant since Gary Keegan's resignation after the 2008 Beijing Olympics. The 37-year-old Dubliner is likely to step down as performance and lifestyle coach with the all-conquering Dublin footballers, a role he has held for the past four years, to lead a High Performance Unit which has brought seven of Ireland's 12 Olympic medals this century, including the only Olympic gold via Katie Taylor. Dunne (28-2), winner of 13 national boxing titles and unbeaten as an amateur in Ireland, faced stiff competition with O'Sullivan and USA's Scott Novack, a former High Performance Director with USA Modern Pentathlon, USA Taekwondo and manager of Youth Development with USA Rugby, battling for the role. But Dunne is hotly-tipped to get the nod ahead of a key summer for Irish boxing with the European and World Championships this summer, before which the Irish Elite team meet France, Germany, Italy and Russia in a round-robin tournament this month at Dublin's National Stadium. http://www.independent.ie/sport/oth...-and-land-high-performance-role-35619141.html
