Speaking as a casual/semi-casual, I have to say that sometimes the views/opinions of some (not all) experts or boxing obsessives can be a bit narrow minded. Some very knowledgeable posters come across as too set in their own views and quite dismissive of opinion which goes against the consensus. I learn more when I ask questions here before researching myself on youtube than I do by simply accepting the majority viewpoint held by aficionados who are just as prone to bias as we 'casuals' are. A lot of the things said in this thread are actually examples of annoying things boxing superfans say, true casuals don't know hardly any boxers as it is a niche sport nowadays.
I don't believe the ability to perceive, break-down, predict etc a fight is strictly correlated to how many fights you have watched in your lifetime or how seriously you competed in the sport (if at all), even though those things will obviously help with understanding nuances/details a casual fan may miss.

In conclusion, FCK YOU Gannicus! Lomachenko is a hype job, and ugly, and gay!
