Ok, weve had quite a few threads been created recently, pertaining to the big hw clash at wembley, between our own Anthony Joshua and the Ukranian Dr Steel Hammer.
I thought it would make more sense to get straight to the point and show us who your picking and why.
    Im going with vlad.

Were all still asking questions which are hard to answer untill fight night. But some we can make an educated guess about easier than others.
One of these questions has been what has Vlad at age 40 got left against a relativly young lion like A.J.
floyd and bhop fought on into there late late 30s and 40s where a similar scenario was set when floyd fought alverez, the near on 40yr old master vs the up and coming young lion. The Alverez camp though they were going to bulldoze through an ageing veteran but the outcome was very different.
Floyd made sure he played all the right games going into the fight to start tilting the playing field in his favour, then come fight night all thr traps hed been setting were sprung into effect and couple that with floyds style, which favours the ageing fighter and the rest is history.
I see a similar pattern emeging here.
Vlad is already playing the mind games, i was listening to something yesterday that said vlad has had all the top sparin from around the world, hes paid top money to bring em in and also paid em to not spar A.J, do i did some research to see who A.Js been sparing and this has probably been mentioned on here, so maybe your all already over the shock but i was mortified to find out that Joe Joyce has been A.Js main sparing partner, i mean cmon an am as your main sparing plus to add to that, its getting reported that Joyce has dropped A.J, which by the way, ehen Joyce was asked if this was true, seemed to suggest that it was.
Vlad also has a style that suits an ageing fighter

For me all the questions that cant be answered till fight is on can be answered with an educated guess.

    Im going Klit.

I'm going for Joshua based on1. Wlad's age41, 2. his inactivity3. and his last performance.
I would not be surprised if Wlad pulled it off , but on the basis of the reasons I've given I pick the younger fresher guy.

Props to Wlad for taking the fight but I think he will get stopped.

Some good points but look who Fury spared for the Wlad fight one of em was a Kick boxer, he didn't spa one world rated fighter. And in fairness, if sparing is to replicate Wlads style its one of the easiest to do. Shorten the jab, limited body work etc.

Hmm Wlads style for a few years has been jab and grab and as he's got older he seems less confident of throwing his right hand. There was some talk of him fighting on the back foot, if he does that he gets stopped no danger - he isnt changing style at this age and making it work.

It all depends on the jab can Joshua get away from it, counter it or maybe slip it. he probably isn't going to out manoeuvre Wlad. Can he outpower Wlad probably a close thing. But Wlad's had a long career he didn't look great V Jennings hasn't stopped anyone for several years. Joshua matches up well physically and if he can lands his combinations Wlad will panic and try and hold. If Joshua has an answer to the clinching an uppercut or something then Wlad could be in big trouble.

Ill guess at wlad over 12 but i say so with no certainty and could Josuha finding some answers and some big shots around the 6th or 7th and taking Wlad out after a cagey opening.

Wladimir Klitsckho will outbox Joshua and knock him out around the 7th round IMO. I think Joshua will be made to look clueless at times here.

Don't mind if I'm proven wrong. I just don't think you can go from Charles Martin and Eric Molina to Wladimir Klitschko like this and not expect to be outclassed.

Very tricky to pick an outcome in this one, but on the assumption wladimir isn't shot, I think he will ko Joshua after 5/6 rounds

Have to go for AJ KO. Heart over head.

So many variables here though. On paper Klit should outbox him and KO him late but I just think he might have too many miles on the clock.

AJ needs to come out firing and try and get him out of there, if he shows too much respect he could be made to look silly. Can Joshua do 12 with an old pro like Klitscho - I have my doubts.

    Very intriguing fight, cant wait.

Well it is a 50/50 fight in my opinion and I think Joshua has a good chance of winning it in the first 3-4 but I went Klitschko KO because if he makes it past those rounds anything can happen and I do think Joshua has not been properly tested yet as a pro.

Seriously, I really wouldn't rule it out.
Wlad's whole "I'm obssessed" act is starting to seem too contrived too.
It's possible that he's actually already retired and he's just relaxing playing the role of a hungry challenger. His heart possibly went out of the game last year, two aborted fights with Fury, no chance for revenge for him, two wasted training camps on his injury-prone ageing body. He's getting millions to face AJ, and possibly a few mill extra to lie down ?

I truly hope not. But I suspect these things have happened before. And anything is possible when human greed comes into play.

I'm going for Wlad by ko anytime from round Seven, this is too soon for AJ, but the right time for Wlad to expose this mere novice, who has been fast tracked into this position far to soon.
