WBC ruined Povetkin's career

I gave Povetkin the benefit of the doubt in the Meldonium case, the second case was the reality breaker for me.

Well respect for that. Your posts have pissed me off(not as much as Willis), but at least you've gave a black fighter a fair shake and criticized a white one. Aren't you worried about how Willis and co. are going to turn on you for making that comment though?

 

They wont. Even Kevin Willis doubts Povetkins case. The Meldonium case was excusable, the Ostarine case not so much. I am happy that my posts have pissed you off, it is my job to spread the trigger virus in the general forum, take care now.

 

The Meldonium situation was a farce. Meldonium is sold over the counter in Russia and Europe with no prescription necessary. Basically like buying Sudafed over in America. For Wilder's team to fly back home before the WBC ruled on the fight was plain dumb. Threw away millions of dollars for nonsense. Clearly his team didn't want the fight.
The fact after that mess Povetkin used another banned substance, and while not a anabolic steroid, it was more serious than Meldonium shows what a knucklehead Povetkin is and really lost him a lot of fans and support over his cause.

Povetkin blew 3 chances at a Wilder fight. I was a fan but he screwed up his own career.

Anybody can walk into a pharmacy in Russia or Eastern Europe and buy drugs you need a prescription for in the West.
Meladonium had been on the watch list for a few years before it was banned , meaning take at your own risk. Povetkin wasn't some normal citizen buying pain killers , he is a pro athlete competing on the world scene so he should have known better to be ingesting a notorious performance enhancing drug.
