Forget about the upcoming Joshua fight. Who do you guys think is greater? Also, who do you guys think is better h2h? And why?
Lewis. Better quality of opposition, better key wins, and less damaging losses. Wlad has an argument based on longevity and dominance, but I still go with Lewis.
My rankings do not include sentimentality as a factor. Lewis battled through the most dangerous era of the division and beat every man he faced. He has an argument for number 3.
Lewis. He proved he was a great fighter of his era with his career but when he beat Vitali he proved he was an ATG.
Lewis' knockout losses were every bit if not more devastating and emphatic than Wlad's. Credit to him that he managed to avenge all of them, though he doesn't deserve full credit for McCall as he wasn't mentally fit to box.
Lewis is vastly greater. But h2h I have the unpopular belief that Wlad was a much tougher matchup for Lewis than Vit(even though I generally favor Vit over Wlad in h2h). H2H I think Wlads caution, power, jab, and slightly greater size and strength wins out over Lewis.
Lennox has beaten every man he's ever faced in avenging his two (somewhat sloppy ) losses and he's had better scalps than Wlad. I have Lewis at 3 and Wlad at 10. Lewis can't go any higher, Wlad might.
Wlad. Lewis's main claim to greatness what his remarkable longevity anyway (it's not as if he was beating prime great fighters, so the quality of opposition arguments fall short, imo) and Wlad's outdone on him on longevity already.
