Santana is really throwing and this was a gallant last stand in the final round but all his punches just have no power behind them. Montes throw as much but you could see his punches really hurting Santana. Both men finish the fight trading punches for 10 seconds straight. Good fight.

Magdaleno throwing some nice, quick combos. Crisp 1-2s are landing. Magdaleno using his legs well, throwing from distance, in and out, very effective. No answers from Dos Santos so far. Looking slow.

Magdaleno far too quick. Dos Santos can't see any of the punches coming. Very poor opponent. A right hook hurts Dos Santos and a left hand follow up drops him. He looks hurt but gets up. Magdaleno putting a hurting on him as he tries to end this. Dos Santos gets dropped again and the ref stops the fight. A bit early and the shot appeared to be from the back of the head but Magdaleno wins by TKO2

Bursak isn't that's good, wasn't he schooled by Murray?
Ramirez should fight someone his own size like Beterbiev or Kovalev.

I have to admit I'm barely starting to warm up to Magdaleno. He said the right things after the fight though.

 

Magdaleno is a ***** for refusing to rematch Donaire, but then fighting a total scrub. Fight a viable opponent. WTF was that?
