That's the excuse they have offered.

Many here have anticipated Fury would pull out for weeks. They sure got it right!

    Isn't an excuse a reason? :risas3:

I don't get why you keep spazzing out and saying "Many here have anticipated Fury would pull out for weeks. They sure got it right!", how is that relevant?

    1. Parker is champ.. You gotta fight him in his home to win the title.

    2. F*ck Fury's.. They are nothing but a bunch off scumbags..

"Do I think Hughie is injured? No, I don't. I think it's make-believe," David Higgins from Parker's management told the New Zealand Herald.

I share Higgins' view at this stage.

Ok, but a reason was provided.

Yes I called it weeks ago.

I was certain that the rat Fury would pull out at the last minute.

I hope now the Fury's find it impossible to ever get any big fights, and are frozen out.

You cannot keep on doing this, and think it has no consequences.

"Fury withdrew and hasn't offered a reason for his withdrawal."

You're wrong, get over it. And I'm out.

Funny how you agreed with someone that said I can't admit being wrong, when the proof is right in your face yet you're still here arguing.

Exactly right. Particularly after they won the purse bid as well.

News of this is still filtering though and at that point in time an excuse had not been offered!

You are absolutely desperate to find a positive in this withdrawal - but there isn't one.

Speaking to some folks who claim to know team Fury - I heard that the pullout was cos duco wouldn't pay for 4 business class airfares for team Fury - they only offerd 2 and 2 ecomnomy - team fury said - we want business class - duco said - FU its not in the contract- Team fury said F that - its a sign of how we will be treated and dropped the fight.

    Shitty outcome for fight fans

    He wasnt injured.

He pulled at the last minute, and he never wanted the fight in the first place. As PREDICTED by me and many others.

Its a typical rat Fury move- and its going to mean that its impossible for them to get big fights in the future.

I know Parker will not be signing to fight him again after this- thats one champ off the list.

The thing is, you have to look at the overall scope of events leading up to this fight and who played what part.

    1. Team Fury changed the date of the fight. Team Parker happily adjusted.
    2. Peter Fury had trouble getting into the country. Team Parker supported Peters request for a visa.
    3. Team Fury had no trouble fighting in NZ, even stating before the bidding they would fight here. Now were hearing theres a problem fighting in NZ, contradiction if thats actually the case regarding venue for Fury.
    4. Team Fury missed the scheduled arrival date to NZ.
    5. Team Fury were unhappy with travel arrangements. Team Parker provided them with some help.
    6. Team Fury lost the purse bidding and speculations arose of Fury pulling out.
    7. Hughie has a history of pulling out of fights.
    8. Today the underdog Hughie Fury has pulled out of his highest payday and a world title shot.
IMO you have to be naive to think that theres an injury or that the arrows point at Joseph Parker for this fight not happening, unless of course Joe is creating fear. I know Fury was getting knocked out in this fight thats why I wanted it to happen but unfortunately, I think Hughie knew that too.

You did call it weeks ago and others did too. But I honestly thought Fury would do the honorable thing and turn up.
