So are you saying he fought better opponents than Ruddock and Mercer once he got a title (other than Vitali and Holyfield)? I can't think of any. Sounds like another stupid smart comment from you.
You appear to be genuinely proud of that difference in respective results - as if it truly adds something to Wlad's legacy (which it doesn't) and places one over on Lewis (which, again, it doesn't) Shooting arrows at the long-dead kill of a prior huntsman, is hardly worthy of credit, let alone an enthusiastic claim to bragging rights. I can't imagine Holmes' beat down of Ali is reflected upon in the same light of Norton's glory, by most rational observers.
So who the **** did Lewis beat who was better than them, not counting Vitali and Holyfield? Or are non-title victories now more important than defenses and winning titles? You know who had a really easy line up before his title shot? Muhammed Ali.
Its not just about power ...positioning is the key, without positioning you cant use power with a high skilled or better opponent. Sparring guys or ones who have actually fought Wilder,i also have first hand knowledge on him even though they were early fights...both guys are at a different level ..EACH has improved. It still comes down to who can place them in position to land ,and that will be Joshua its not who,its clearly Joshua. Of note...Joshua is not only more skilled all around but MUCH smarter with HIS style......it will be a mega fight ( a punch can k.o anyone) but its not Klitchko threat. A Wlad win for me puts him over Lewis.
Wlad scores high marks for longetivity. If wlad lands that right hand on Lenny's face, every justified question mark on Lenny's face Sent from my SM-G925W8 using Tapatalk
Just pointing out the facts. Mercer was on a decent win streak at the time. He wasn't THAT shot. So then let's just scratch Holyfield off Lewis' resume as a credible win, shall we? Beating Bowe's leftovers is, uh, hardly worthy of credit, let alone an enthusiastic claim to bragging rights. And let's dismiss his beating of the ghost of Tyson. And, oh, beating the remains of Golota is not that impressive. The dude was as done as dinner. Beating the "drug rehab" version of McCall is hardly impressive either. Frank Bruno looks good on Lennox's resume until one realises that the living daylights were beaten out of him by Smith, Witherspoon and Tyson. Wow, not much resume left, is there? Yeah, on second thoughts, following this line of reasoning, Wlad's is better.
Lewis by country mile ,imo.Lewis avenged his 2 defeats with stoppage victories,Wlad did not rematch Purrity of Sanders.Lewis' challengers p*ss all over Wlad's.
I think Lewis takes this. I think resume wise and head to head he's greater. Mentally he's much stronger than Wlad, I think Wlad would have **** himself facing Lewis.
Despicable post and once more shows the bottom level standards of Kturds. What next? Povetkin destroyed Rahman quicker and more savagely than Lewis? Do you have any idea how far gone Mercer was when he fought Wlad? He wasn't even ranked and had only been beating regular Joe's in hotel lobby's. Why was he even a title defence for Wlad? He was as shot as shot gets yet he still managed to bust Wlads face up with a jab before being stopped on his feet. A few years later Shannon Briggs sent him out of the ring on a stretcher. 1996 Mercer probably knocks Wlad out.
Ah , i see. . So this is why you've been hyping Joshua up to a Godly standard all this time. It all makes sense now.
He wasn't medically fit to mix it with top 50 level opposition so who exactly did he beat that was decent?
It looks like they've got both bases covered here. If Joshua wins, it confirms that he's the greatest heavyweight ever, but if Wlad wins it simply confirms that he is.
