as an amateur over 3 rounder, povetkin outpoints tim.

in pro ranks witherspoon locks him down for UD win.

A guy that loses to Everett Martin, Jimmy Thunder, Nielsen, Larry Donald and Pinklon Thomas ... and who creaked to a win over Larry Alexander, doesn't have a very good chance of beating Povetkin, is my opinion. Witherspoon is somewhat overrated on these forums is what I think.

a guy who can never win a title in an era of watered down ones, is the one being overrated.

Witherspoon legit won a title, was briefly ranked number 1 by a title org, and was mooted as the number one HW on the planet until tyson emerged, after which he became appraised as the only guy who could dethrone tyson.

Bruno was a fanny hair away from beating Spoon and Bruno wasn't that good. I like Povektin to narrowly decision Spoon.
    Cleaner puncher. Better technique.

If we are talking Supercharged PED addled later career Povetkin then I bet on the Russian. Aggressive and technically precise, I would favour him slightly to win a decision.

Depends how much you rate his SD loss to Holmes, MD win on Tubbs, and Bruno and Tillis stoppage wins. No doubt Povetkin is the more dangerous puncher.

It's a coin toss for me but think I'll go with pove by split decision in a gruelling one.
