This debate should have been put to bed some time ago.

The footage clearly shows that Sharkey was knocked out, although you can see how it would have looked confusing to ringsiders.

Another notion that should be challenged is that the knockout was solely a result of a single uppercut.

Sharkey was taken out with an uppercut, but he was taking a beating before the fateful punch landed.

He migth already have been in trouble when it hit home.

Yes Sharkey was a better fighter than Carnera, but he was also mentally unstable, and inconsistent.

Sometimes a weaker fighter beats a stronger fighter, and this is such a case.

The more I study the fight, the more it looks like a systematic breakdown that was ended with one big punch.

Please seriously what did you practice for 20 yrs, when you didnt know why Louis didnt throw right crosses on Marciano. And what does you watching it for 57yrs have to do with anything. Forget about having watched it for 57yrs watch it now, you said the same thing about the Marciano - Louis fight and you still claim you didnt see the punch.
