I admire your effort but it's a waste of time providing facts to a few here.

Complete hypocrites the lot of them... Well.. Not sure there's really enough to be considered a "lot" on here.

Where were they when Wilder fought Arreola almost 2 months after the fight with Povetkin was canceled? Where was their outcry when he signed to fight Wawrzyk? That one definitely wasn't a short notice fight! This fight is garbage... But Parker definitely deserves less flack considering he was brought up with dignity and hasn't been steered of good competition unlike a certain someone. Wish he and his team would have just canceled and booked a better fight at a later date, but as some say the show must go on...

Browne maybe unranked but he is much better than Cojanu. Why would a fight against a better opponent be pointless? I'm sure the paying fans would prefer that.

A unification in July is the reason for another delay. Even Higgins said a cancellation was an option.

People didn't pay for this fight! Or a WBO title fight. They paid for Parker vs his unbeaten mandatory.

There is zero incentive and zero reward for the WBO champion fighting an unranked guy embroiled in successive drug suspensions.

Who is to blame for them not getting a fight between Parker and his unbeaten mandatory? The quitting bloody Furys, that's who! It has absolutely zero to do with Parker.

But the people who paid for a WBO title fight will still be getting one, as per what is printed on their tickets. The only change is the challenger's name and who's fault is that? Yes, the quitting bloody Furys, that's who.

Judging from what Ive seen from the Furys outside of the ring with how they are in terms of personality, it's like they dont really care too much about boxing. It's just a game to them, they dont seem professional especially Tyson 'look at my belly' Fury.

It's such a shame because theyre actually really good, more so Tyson obviously. Which is why I, personally, am willing to forgive and forget and hope, that they dont muck other boxers around again.

Tyson left us an undefeated champ, whoever unifies the titles needs to fight Tyson Fury. ESPN still has him as no.1 heavyweight. The true HW champ ideally for me, would beat all the current 3 champions, Wlad if he wins this weekend and then Tyson, thats clearing out the division to claim the title of undisputed.

This is the type of fighter I'd expect David Haye to fight on one of his joke cards, not a legit guy in Parker. I'm extremely disappointed they couldn't get a better name, even at this short notice. Anyway, just hope it's over as quickly as possible and Parker's able to move onto better things.

I don't even have any words for Hughie and his team.

Being advertised as a title fight sells more tickets and PPV's amongst casuals. I would buy it if it was a non title fight with Browne ahead a title fight with this chucklehead but something advertised as a ''title fight for the heavyweight championship world title belt!!!!" sounds more impressive to a lot of casual people. Especially in a small country like New Zealand where JP is like a god.

Seems like we all hoped the opponent would be Hughie except the Furys.

Why the **** is Browne even being talked about?

Browne is willing to fight at 2 weeks notice yes, but he clearly says for the WBO belt, he isn't ranked they wouldn't sanction it, so even if Parker agreed Browne wouldn't do it because the belt isn't on the line. He has to convince the WBO first to sanction it before he's even on the table as an alternative.

Also when Browne won the WBA mickey mouse belt, Parker called him out and Browne told him to literally **** off. Why would Parker give him an easy shot at his belt when Browne wouldn't do the same and insulted him on top of it.

Now Parker/Browne is undeniably a better fight but in reality it's not even a possibility.

As for cancelling the fight and fighting Wilder later, Duco have sunk too much cash into this for them to cancel it, they'd lose a ton of cash and they're only a smaller promotional company, cancelling isn't an option.

Looking at Cojanu's record, this is a complete miss match.

I hope he is better than his record suggests, otherwise Parker levels him inside 4 rounds.
