All I see is a relatively light, up close drill session where Wlads left hand is too low with his jab not returning quickly enough to guard his chin. In other words, he is wide open to AJs counter right hand
Not sure it will matter come fight time. Wlads problem has never been how he looks on mitts. He might start fast this fight for a round or two, but I expect by round 4 him to be the same ol wlad in there.... which by all means, could be enough to get the job done. I just dont expect this 'beast' everyone is saying is going to show up. By round 3 or 4 I expect vintage, hesitant and frustrating Wlad. No outcome should suprise anyone this weekend. What a great fight.... I knew I was looking forward to this fight but the closer it gets the more pumped I am lol. Cant wait. May the best man win.
This. Joshua has really tough fight in his hands. Actually, I believe Joshua will slow down more during the fight - his footwork I mean. This can go either way, may the best man win!
This is actually one of my pet hates, you see vids on you tube about Canelos twenty five punch combos(I kid you not)and yet when have we seen this in the ring, same applies here, there's one exception in Lomo who shadow boxes like he does for real.
Yeah he looks great hitting the pads.....but will he punch on saturdaynight??? Even Charlie Zellenoff looked pretty dangerous hitting the heavy bag
He doesn't fight like that anymore though, he fights like a guy that is scared to get hit. Like someone that only trains boxing but never spars, he flinches in exchanges and doesn't throw more than 2 punches at a time at his opponent. AJ has been fighting like a terminator. The first few rounds are going to be really slow with not much action, then I think AJ is just going to unload.
