If Brook comes in at 149 and pays the fine while losing the title, if he gets the W in the end it may be better than losing. Although dishonorable, it could work.

Povetkin got popped for Peds and Wilder got the heat for refusing to fight, the same thing would happen here where the cheated is called the coward and the cheater is praised?

TBF to Smith he was told he only had 1 hour to make the weight when he should have been allowed 2 hours.
After the fight Smith was ripped to shreds that is a fact!!!

Smith would have probably made weight if he knew the correct rules

Agreed, and he apologized for it too.

I am not a fan of any of the Smith brothers, but it sounded perfectly genuine to me.

It really doesn't make much sense to think this at this time, but I'll give ya credit if he shows up overweight for calling it.

That real credible boxing voice YouTube channel claims he has numerous sources across the pond lol

Like all the sources that said brook was gonna vacate. The dude is trying to create a story from nothing.

James5000 has to keep that brook hate going though.. them amir khan fanboys are still hurting..

Because you're a Khan nuthugger and have spent all day dreaming something up to have a sly dig at Brook. And this was you're best shot, via a YouTube 'source'. You should focus your attention on a breakdown of how Amir beats Thurman. I mean, how DOES he beat 'one time'? From the prone position, that is...

I agree. I don't think Brook would try on purpose to miss weight that's just crazy talk.

The real question is how does Spencer make weight with those giant PED cheat nipples?

Don't credit me, it isn't my rumour or even something I agree with or think will happen.

I was just asking for opinions on how it would be received by the Brookbackmountaineers?

I imagine they think its a great idea and Brook should be allowed advantages because Spence might just destroy him if they fight on even terms?

Im a Brook fan and the idea he may come in overweight had never even crossed my mind until you mentioned it. I wouldnt want it to happen i feel it would invalidate the fight. But i also dont expect it to happen ive seen nothing to suggest Brook has ever had an incling to do that and nothing to suggest it does it here. You are the only person i know that has suggested it and im guessing your not exactly a leak in Brooks camp.

Also what if Spence turns up with a machete and a gun? Would Brook still fight? Just asking for opinions.

    This thread is utterly spasticated.

Personally I would not be happy at such an occurrence as I am going to the fight. I had reservations about Brook going all the way back down to 147 after fighting at 160 and really think he'd be better at 154. But he's a dedicated professional and there's zero reason to think he is going to miss weight at this stage.

If he does then I will give it to him with both barrels as it is not acceptable.

Doesn't matter. Spence is going to kick his A.

Most people don't understand how talented Spence is. But they will all get on the Spence train after he brings back the belt in convincing fashion.
