    He might do that if he can´t make the weight. But it doesn´t really make any difference, it wont affect Spence or his chances to win. Brook is a welterweight even if he comes at 170 according to highly respectable experts on ESB.

    I very seriously doubt if Brook will come into the fight overweight, he will make weight.............

    The only place I've heard this "rumour" is in this thread. This thread is the rumour mill.

    Still, I do agree that Brook's weight is a valid point.

    It's a tough ask for a fighter to climb two weight classes and then come back down two weight classes. That's quite a lot of weight and Brook is a big welter in any case.

    I don't think Brook has any plans to come in overweight, I believe he will make the weight.

    However, I do wonder how weight drained he will be and whether or not it will affect his performance.

    If Brook loses against Spence I really hope that weight draining won't become an excuse.

    It also bothers me that Brook was talking, not so long ago, about how he can't really get motivated for Spence. I've wondered about Brook's motivation in the past. He looked terrible in the first Carson Jones fight and Senchenko also caused him a few problems.

    Spence is hungry and if he really is as good as he looks then Brook will need to at his absolute best to beat him.

    Errol Spence fans seem less confident now the fight is made, before Brook was scared and Spence runs through him. Now the fight is made, it's suddenly turned into a 50/50 fight.

    They can't be too less confident. Kell started as favourite at the bookies and now he's a decent underdog

    I feel like the build up to this fight has dragged on and we now have AJ vs Wlad then Canelo vs JCC Jr back to back so this fight is firmly on the back burner ATM. That doesn't mean anyone is less confident, its just means it isn't getting much attention.
