Tyson and Hugie probably having a big laugh over this. They're not taking their profession seriously and should be banned for a couple years.

Why has it taken this long for them to come up with this reason? This has been going on forever.

Even if it is true it may not prevent a ban, athletes have a responsibility to ensure what they are taking is not contaminated. It may just result in a shorter ban.

I think i heard the story a while ago. Peter Fury mentioned it in an interview a while ago, when the doping allegations story first broke last summer.

It's not strictly "contaminated" meat. It's naturally occuring hormone in uncastrated boar. It could be organically farmed boar.
It could be organic corn-fed pig raised in the Furys backyard, fed no chemicals. They could certainly argue that they did eveything the way they thought they should and had no idea organic uncastrated pig was a risk. It really depends on how they present the story.

UKAD needs to put a note about uncastrated pig on their banned list.
If they already had that then the Furys have a much harder case to plead ignorance.

Lol you clearly don't know how doping works then. Plenty of other athletes have proven their positive results came from contaminated sources so they didn't dope on purpose, but they were still banned.

Lucien Bute unknowingly took a contaminated supplement and tested positive for Ostarine, guess what even though the authorities believed this was the case, he was still banned, because he had a responsibility in regards to what he was taking.

So yes even if this story is true, Fury's could still face a ban, just a much shorter one. Only time when athletes get a pass is if they could not have avoided taking the contaminated products or where given products by trusted organisations like governing bodies, like when all those tennis players tested positive one year but it turned out the positive results came from the ATP handing out contaminated supplements to tennis players.

lol I think I know how doping works. Gasquet, the tennis player, stated that he tested positive for cocaine from a girl he kissed in a club the night before. There is always an excuse. I don' t think the Furys were even serious when they put this one out, at least I hope not. Any way, it's all a matter of perspective and you will believe what you want as will I.

    I think they are serious.
They can walk on this. Maybe.

The best doping excuse was that runner who said he was taking a supplement for ***** size enhancement.
Funny because even if that one was true, I'd rather have people think I was cheating with anabolic steroids.
