Sharkey was working in Ernie Schaaf's corner against Carnera the night he died, a mere 3 months before Jack Sharkey fought Primo himself. Surely that affected him mentally, he says as much.
Dont listen to him, you have his permission to agree or disagree and I agree. But if you post something and someone disagrees with you and challengers your POV, it's ok you can ignore it, reply or not. Just cos I challenge his posts he can easily post his pov, no problem.
You don't fake that fall. He legs collapsed like he just decided to do yoga. That happens to boxers who get knocked out, and never by their own volition. That's an incredibly uncomfortable position to fall in, and at the same time his body goes skywards. You can't act that. Also the trajectory of his body clearly reflects an uppercut punch similar to the one Tyson lands here: https://i.imgur.com/fzSIO6o.gifv How can a forarm produce that physical reaction? It's dumb. This is getting flat earth theory levels of ignorant.
No clear head snap either...seems like he pretty much raises up from the waist and then falls down. Strange.
Note how closely the 4th and final knockdown of the Louis fight resembles the Carnera knockout. Perhaps a computer savvy guy will bring it over. Sharkey is ducking into Louis and appears to start straightening but is fully straightened by a Louis right uppercut and bends backwards into Louis' follow-up left hook. Just after decades of watching fights and fight films, I think there is no way of telling how a guy should fall from any given punch. Some fall forward. Some backward. Some even take steps before falling. One thing though. If you watch the second Robinson KO of Bobo Olson--the blank look on Olson's face is the same as Sharkey's.
mcvey, Because I say so certainly does not make it so ,and that goes for you and Reznik too! I agree, but when confronted with facts opposing your POV, you comeback with something and conveniently leave out relevant facts. The difference being I don't get irate because someone disagrees with me. Please, I dont get irate, and have not gotten irate. So if someone disagrees with you the reason they respond is only cos they are irate and no other reason. Why do you keep responding to my posts there are many on here who disagree fundamentally with you ? Simple, cos others post what they think just like I do and you too. Only difference is you think you know it all, and are smug about it. this should be a compliment to you cos I consider your posts challenging. Do you think they are all Alts which is your usual get out when challenged? Are you now saying there arent some "hard core" who use and hide under different alts, please. Now who is not telling the truth
No just you usually. I don't know it all, in fact the longer I post on boxing sites the more I realise how little I know ,especially compared to some others. No not you, silly boy!
Yes of course, all of us that have expressed doubts or uncertainty about the validity of the KO are DUMB & IGNORANT . I wish I was young enough to be that certain about everything.
So you deny the death threats, the dead rat in the post ,and the poison pen letters were not from you? That's a relief,I thought I was going to have to move!
If Sharkey had decided to go into the tank by catching the first decent shot, then he would have done it much sooner in the fight. He had already been dropped previously for starters. A dive is most profitable when you can call the round, and that becomes increasingly difficult the longer the fight progresses. What we would almost certainly have seen in this situation, is a knockout in the early rounds, probably in the first round.
"Every ko is different, except the ones I'm talking about to boost my point ,then they fall into clear, designated patterns, depending on weight and size.LOL"
Fair enough but it looks like he's already nearly upright by the time the Louis uppercut lands. His reaction--lifting his head just a bit more and freezing--seems a lot more intuitively understandable than in the Carnera fight.
Why would Sharkey's motive for going into the tank have to be $$$$? Why wouldn't it be the same as Ace Clark's and Leon Chevalier's? ie Self preservation!
