not impressed with wlad tonight...same ole, same ole. he just happened to have a very inexperienced guy in there and was able to exploit joshua's lack of exposure to top level comp. otherwise wlad was his usual tentative, jab-and-grab self. the ending came about becuase wlad always lacked to mental and intestinal fortitude to sustain aggression even when his opponent is hurt and in trouble... which allowed joshua to recover and impose HIS will on the always tentative wlad.
I respect your opinion, but I think given his age, he deserves maximum respect for that effort. Had a young Joshua properly rocked in the 5th and pushed him to the end. He's also a complete gentleman.
Right here is what I learned from you. You are ******ed. You can't read so get the hell out of here with this crap. As I typed moron Wilder is a bum. Apparently that is too hard for you to understand. If you think this fight was exciting then good for you. If you think Wlad fighting Derrick Jefferson, Ray Austin, and others makes him great then that is your problem. But you still don't know a damn thing about boxing. Have a nice day.
hmm, when he got knocked out by Sanders he wasn't prime. He had a glass jaw then, and didn't have a defense. He got managed by a hall of fame manager and he got better. It wasn't always pretty but he dominated for 10 years. Since he dominated, there weren't others of his equivalence after Lewis left, except his own brother which of course he couldn't fight. Magically after he gets old, that is when good fighters come again? There were good fighters, but he dominated them all, even if his domination was ugly.
You shouldn't talk bad about your mom like that. Now be good boy and go pleasure yourself to your boxing heroes. You know because punching people in the face for a living makes you better than God.
Cute story, Wlad was 24 or 25. So if you want to use that logic Foreman wasn't in his prime when Ali beat him. You know there is no way to fix your chin? If you can't take a punch then you can't take a punch. You can work on your defense and try to avoid being hit. But if somebody sparks you out as a adult in 4 minutes like Corrie did Wlad then there is nothing that can fix it. Wlad dominated who? Who was he boxing against? It wasn't his fault the Era was bad. But that point is the Era was a bad. Wlad was stopped by 3 average fighters. Knocked down by various others. If you believe the fighters he was fighting were great then good for you. I am telling you they weren't. So this fight proved nothing. Well besides European boxing fans are even more annoying that Mayweather fans. Joshua is a joke, he has still yet to fight a anybody worth mentioning. Stuggling to beat a washed up Wlad only impresses casual fans and British fans. Any half way decent boxing with a punch would stop Joshua easily.
Can see Wlad pursuing Parker and Joshua fighting Wilder. That's the only way I'd like to see a rematch. I don't think Wlad is finished or will retire.
Hmm. I actually like those scorecards. I had it 6-4 Joshua after 10th round. Klitschko only decisively won rounds 6, 7 and 8. I had Joshua winning rounds 1-5 and being up 50-44 after five round. At the end of the 8th round i had it 76-74. I gave Klitschko round 9 and Joshua round 10, so had him up 95-93 going in to the 11th round. I think many are biased by those three rounds, since Joshua seemed ready to go.
That same ole, same ole has been Wlad's formula for success for a long, long time. It took two to put on that great fight.
First time i have been so on the edge of my seat i couldn't take my eyes away to even read the RBR thread absolute classic fight.
