If anything Deontay would be feeling much better about an AJ fight after that display. That's the second time AJ has had that vacant look on his face during the fight - Deontay would back himself to get him out of there if he got him in that state.

Wilder is irrelevant. He had multiple opportunities to win us over, but he chose the worst opponents again and again. I wanted to like the guy but he's made it impossible to be a fan. He's not going to fight AJ, or Fury, or anyone with a pulse.

Totally disagree with this, both those fighters in there tonight would annihilate Wilder. Wilder just doesn't have the tools.

haha ffs. joshua just fought one of the great heavyweight champs.

wilder's biggest win was against charlie zelenoff.

AJ would not have gotten up if it was Wilder in there during that 6th round. There's a reason AJ called out Fury and not Wilder who was sitting ringside

If Wilder is smart he'll avoid AJ and try and get a fight with Tony Bellew this summer in Wembley stadium, big money for a low risk fight on paper at least.

Because Wilder is irrelevant, that's the reason.

Wilder is a plastic champ, with very limited skills.

It would be bad for his health to face AJ.

AJ proved tonight more than Wilder has been able to prove in twice as many fights as a pro....

Have no doubts about it - if Wilder can hang onto his belt and perhaps get Parkers WBO (which won't be an easy win for him) then he surely will take on AJ if the chance comes up - there's too much money. This fight would be his big CASH OUT fight, set for life off 1 fight, and he could still believe with his power and also unbeaten record that he has a chance. Heck for 10million I'd take on AJ and Wilder same night. Yeah that's 2 KO's in one night.
